That's right ladies and gents, the AvA IRC presence has been revived on the Gamesurge IRC network! In an aid to easily organize Team Fortress 2 scrims and to get team members more involved in the dense TF community on Gamesurge, the move was made to re-establish our presence on the legendary chat service. And It's not just for TF2'ers, all members and friends of <AvA> are welcome to idle in the channel, which can be found here. Clan members and trialees will be given user access to the channel provided they first register themselves with Gamesurge. Happy IRC'ing! |

Over the next couple of weeks while the holidays are on, the current championships are also taking a break. During this time, the server will be setup to provide some short races every night. The usual V8's (with setups) and tracks will continue to be supported. The server will not be passworded.
NEW CHAMPIONSHIPS
Additionally, we will also be rotating the Meganes and Porsches (PCC07) with fixed setups. Our aim is also to gauge interest in a new competition with the Meganes and/or Porsches. If we get sufficient interest, we expect to start a competition in the second half of January. More details can be found by visiting our forums. |

Season Four of the Gamearena Battlefield 2 16v16 Ladder Competition is now well underway, and new life has been infused into the event with the addition of no less than 9 new custom maps to the roster. Team AvA Battlefield 2 Division had a few regulars retire from active duty at the conclusion of Season Three, but have welcomed in some new blood, and are looking well placed for a Season Four finals finish with three strong defenses of their second ranked spot on the Ladder in the opening clashes. |

Last night the round of the V8 Supercars at Phillip Island was held in the AvA Championship. Great racing was had and many front right tires are now bald. <AvA>Brocky-LJ consolidated on his championship lead with another round win through consistantly quick lap times whilst AUS-LoudHoward also was a standard in pace. This round sets the stage for our upcoming final championship round at Adelaide in two weeks time. Of the 39 drivers who have competed in this competition there are quite a number who are jockying for final honors. Championship Ladder: http://dn.team-ava.org/racing/index.php?page=champ_view&id=30
Best of luck to all competitors |
