The new home page for Team-AvA is finally live.

Some of the imaging is still temporary but we now have a live web site again after our previous server crashed.

We have added a number of youtube videos and screenshots in our gallerys and we will add more over the coming days.

Enjoy!

AvA GA 16x16 Finals Series Ends

Well another season for the BF2 team has come to its end with another loss in the prelim final.

After the disappointment of the finals in season 2 we where determined to go that next step but the enemy this time was OGA. Following their success in the GA 10v10 season they come over to the 16v16 format and had a stellar undefeated season.

We new what we would be up against and gave it our best but on the night we could not match them. 1st round AvA as USMC, rollout went okay, but we were just outplayed after that. OGA pushed Mosque hard and capped it, we couldn’t manage to push into either powerplant or hotel. Bleed and deaths led to round win to OGA by 83 tickets. 2nd round we knew we had to really lift out game to dig ourselves out as MEC. Rollout went okay again, capped Powerplant, mosque, Backyard. Pushing Hill didn’t work and we were outplayed again, OGA using their chopper well to drop infantry onto mosque and support guys onto high places, and the usual good placement of 50.cals at Hill. OGA won by 35 tickets to take the match 118 overall.

We wish OGA the best of luck for their final match and ditto to C.Rex, thanks to them for putting in their time to help us out in the lead up to the match. Thanks to all the teams who have helped us throughout the season with practice scrims, apologies for not getting a full team together for quite a few of them.

S3 has been hard on AvA with various players in the ranks retiring, being deployed overseas on military assignment, some going AWOL, and some being caught up with family and life in general. We will be back again, and we’re keen to keep playing the wider format. 10v10 would solve a lot of numbers problems for us but at the end of the day the bigger game is what we enjoy.

Not really into POE2, don’t see why a winning formula has to change. Staying in 16v16 will mean we have to do some recruiting though, perhaps a thread will come soon, but for now, if anyone is interested in joining the team, drop us a line at http://forums.team-ava.com/, and put a thread up or PM one of the team leaders.

Big thanks to Gamestah, the shoutcasting crew has come ahead leaps and bounds in S3 and I know all the 16v16 teams appreciate it.

Big thanks to GameArena for the ladder.
